TE-SYS: Tele-ECG system
With the telemedical ECG system TE-SYS, the advantages of remote telemedical ECG transmission are combined with normal ECG software.
The system consists of ECG devices (resting ECG and event recorder) and server software, which receives the ECG data and makes it possible to manage patients and devices.
Features:
- Combination of telemedicine and desktop ECG software
- Use of ECG devices (3/6/12 channels) and event recorders (1 channel)
- Measurement and interpretation of remotely transmitted ECG data
- Automatic event transmission
- Manual remote query of ECG recordings by the physician
How does TE-SYS work in emergency medicine?
During a heart attack, the time factor plays an extremely important role. Therefore, it is important not to lose any time before starting treatment. From the patient’s location, the patient’s ECG is transmitted directly to the connected clinic in real-time. There, a cardiologist decides immediately what the problem is and makes his initial diagnosis. In coordination with the rescue service, the patient can be brought to the right hospital without detours and the operation can be prepared even before the patient arrives.
TE-SYS has already been very successfully used in the region of Recklinghausen, Germany. Read more about this in a field report from those involved in our Press archives .
