Bluetooth ECG (3/6-lead)

The Bluetooth ECG is a compact ECG meter which can be worn on the body and is independent of the mains. It wirelessly transmits a 3- or 6-channel ECG to a monitor (e.g., a PC or regular patient monitor) in the close range up to 10 m or to a clinical information system or a electronic health record.

The Bluetooth standard is used for transmission. The housing is distinguished by its compact design and simple operability. A built-in display signalizes electrode contact problems, heart rate, battery status and telemetry reception. An acoustic signal is also given off synchronously with the R wave.

Besides CE approval the BT PC-ECG passed 510(k) clearance in september 2008. It can be sold in the USA.

Further changes can be made upon request. The front foil, sampling rate and filter properties can be adapted to customer wishes. The open communication protocol allows the easy integration in existing applications. With the  development kit and its visualization software, an example implementation of the transmission protocol in C and various filters you can also do the integration by yourself.
