Design of a Defibrillator Output Stage
Defibrillators are used for treating patients with ventricular fibrillation. Here, an energy of 200 to 360 Joule has to be delivered to the human body within 10 ms. This requires voltages of about 2,5 kV and currents of over 15 A. Rapid development in semiconductor technology requires a constant adaptation of output stage technology in order to be able to react to increasing demands in a cost-effective way. For this reason technology validations are performed regularly in the form of prototyping.

Wireless Medical Data Transfer
In a variety of medical diagnosing and monitoring processes today's wiring of sensors implicates risks for patients and medical personnel. We develop and produce universal data communication modules and the appropriate software based on Bluetooth or GSM technology. In some cases we also use proprietary technology.
